PASTOR HERBERT H. JACKSON,
JR.
 Pastor Herbert H. Jackson, Jr. is a
native of Washington, D.C. and is the second eldest of five
children, born to the late Herbert and Mary Jackson. He was
educated in the D.C. Public Schools and attended the
University of Maryland at College Park, where he studied
Business Administration and Public Relations. He also has
taken classes in theology and ministry preparation at the
Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland.
He is married to Co-Pastor Patricia A.
Jackson, and they are the proud parents of two children
Whittney and Herbert, III. Pastor Jackson is employed by the
United States Government Printing Office, Customer Service,
where he serves as the Director of Acquisition Services.
He accepted Jesus as the Lord and
Savior of his life at an early age and after being baptized
united with The Trueway Baptist Church, under the pastorate
of Rev. E. L. Koger. In August 1980, he and his family
united with the New Macedonia Baptist Church, under the
pastorate and tutelage of Rev. Dr. Robert L. Walls, Sr.
While at New Macedonia, he served as an Associate Minister,
Co-Chairperson for Christian Education, Superintendent of
the Sunday School, Chairperson of the Music Committee and in
various other capacities. In November 1998, as
directed by the Lord, Pastor Jackson and his wife stepped
out by faith and organized the Life Changing Church, located
in Temple Hills, Maryland. Life Changing is a bible
believing and teaching Church which stands on the principles
of God’s Word. The ultimate task of the church is to “Know
God and to Make Him Known.” Additionally, he serves as
the 2nd Presiding Overseer of the New Smyrna Diocese,
Churches and Leaders United in Christ of Washington, DC
where Bishop-Elect. Earl A. Ross is the Overseer; District
Presbyter of Go Tell It Ministries Network of Churches
Worldwide, under the leadership of Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn
and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nannie Helen
Burroughs School, Inc. Pastor Jackson is also a Senior
Fellow and Co-Coach in the Council for Excellence in
Government. He serves as host of a weekly radio broadcast
heard each Tuesday and Thursday evenings on Spirit 1340 –
WYCB.
Pastor Jackson is often sought to
conduct revivals, workshops and to participate in various
retreats and conferences throughout the east cost. Most of
all his desire is to live a life that God is pleased with,
and to lead men, women, boys and girls alike to know the
wonderful saving power of Jesus Christ, the Living Lord! |
CO-PASTOR PATRICIA A.
JACKSON
 Co-Pastor Patricia Jackson, second
eldest of four children, was born and raised in Washington,
D.C. Educated in the D.C. Public School, Elder Jackson
received her B.A. Degree from the University of the District
of Columbia. Co-Pastor Jackson attended the New Macedonia
Baptist Church for over 30 years where she served in many
capacities to include President, Comforters of Christ, Vice
President, Missionary Society, Sunday School Teacher,
President, Women's Ministry and Member, Board of Christian
Education. It was at the New Macedonia Baptist Church that
she fell in love with Jesus, and accepted Him as her Lord
and Savior. She is employed by Covenant House Washington,
where she serves as the Director of Residential Services.
In May of 1985 Co-Pastor Jackson was
married to Pastor Herbert H. Jackson, Jr. They are the proud
parents of two children, Whittney and Herbert III.
In April of 1995, Co-Pastor Jackson
was licensed into the Ministry.
In November 1998, the Lord directed
her Husband to organize and Pastor the Life Changing Bible
Baptist Church, where she presently co-labors with her
husband. At Life Changing, she serves as the Co-Pastor,
Minister over Christian Education, bible teacher and
Director of the Women's Ministry, Women of Virtue. Her
outside responsibilities include, Student of Those Preaching
Women Bible College, sponsored by Go Tell It Ministries
under the Directorship of Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Student,
Teacher at the Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute, under
the Direction of Pastor Earl Ross and founder/Director of
The Life Changing Word of Life Ministries.
Co-Pastor Jackson is an anointed
preacher and teacher and is often sought after to facilitate
conferences, retreats, Revivals and workshops. Her
prescription for life is recorded in Matthew 6:33, But seek
ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all
these things will be added unto you.
